How long do i bake chicken wings?
I have two dozen thawed chicken wings (drummetes) that have been marinating in a jerk sauce for about 24 hrs. I’ve been googling how long to bake them (i don’t have a deep fryer nor do i feel like pan frying) and I’ve gotten everything from 325-450 for 30mins-1.5 hrs. Any suggestions?

JESUS don’t cook them for an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bake them on a cookie sheet, lined with foil at 425 for 20-25 minutes.

Sigh, not looking for a recipe, just looking for an average amount of time to cook the chicken.
I ended up baking the chicken wings for about 1hr 10mins….

Easy Baked Marinated Chicken Wings
3 pounds chicken wings, cut apart
with wing tips removed
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
Mix ingredients and pour over wings. Marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
Remove wings from marinade and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
San Antonio Wings
12 chicken wings
1 cup Pace picante sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup honey
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
2/3 cup dairy sour cream
Cut wings in half at joints; discard wing tips. Combine 1/3 cup of the picante sauce, catsup, honey and cumin; pour over chicken. Place in refrigerator; marinate at least 1 hour, turning once.
Drain chicken, reserving marinade. Place on rack of foil-lined broiler pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes.
Brush chicken with reserved marinade; turn and bake, brushing generously with marinade every 10 minutes, until tender, about 30 minutes.
Place 6 inches from heat in preheated broiler; broil 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce looks dry. Turn; broil 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce looks dry. Spoon sour cream into small clear glass bowl; top with remaining 2/3 cup picante sauce. Serve with chicken. Makes 24 appetizers.
At this point, chicken may be refrigerated up to 24 hours. To serve, place 6 inches from heat in preheated broiler; broil 4 to 5 minutes. Turn; broil 4 to 5 minutes or until heated through.
Savory Chicken Wings
1 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup orange marmalade
2 pounds chicken wings
Combine first six ingredients and mix thoroughly; add the chicken. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours.
Heat the oven to 300 degrees F.
Place the chicken and marinade in a shallow baking dish. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or so, basting and turning the wings every 15 minutes. Wings should look browned, yet moist when done.

when baking chicken wings (not frozen) how long do you bake and at what temperature?

After coating them in a horseradish and marmalade sauce (my specialty- I serve it at the annual neighborhood picnic to much acclaim) I tend to bake them for an hour…. But I tend to like my chicken on the al dente side.

some of the chicken wings i’m going to marinate but some are going to be plain,how long will this take and what temp do i put oven?

Start out at 325 then when almost done say after an hr turn up to 475 to crisp them.

The chicken wings are already unfrozen. I thawed them out in the refridgerator overnight. Thanks for any help.

Wash the chicken wings and pat dry.Saute chicken wings in melted butter until lightly browned. Arrange in oiled ovenproof baking dish.
In separate bowl, mix together soy sauce, vinegar, and salt. Pour over the chicken.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until tender.
Do not crowd the pan when browning the chicken wings.
